I’m Joshua James Macario, a cybersecurity professional with a passion for incident response and digital forensics. Based in Maricopa, Arizona, I’ve spent years safeguarding organizations against cyber threats. I have directly responded to live hacking attempts, mitigating their impact and protecting sensitive data. My work also focuses on in-depth analysis of security alerts, including phishing campaigns, malware infections, and other suspicious activities. I leverage my forensic skills to investigate these events, uncover root causes, and develop effective mitigation strategies. I hold the GCFA certification and am currently pursuing the CISSP. I also hold other relevant certifications including GCIH, GSOC, CCSK, CC, and SCSA, to continuously enhance my expertise.
